Call for Action for Decriminalisation of Abortion in Latin America and the Caribbean

On November 25, the Day of the Elimination of Violence Against Women, La Campaña 28 de Septiembre urges advocates and activists around the world to submit letters to the embassies of seven countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, where abortion is completely prohibited and penalized (Chile, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Haiti, Suriname and the Dominican Republic) demanding that governments ensure access to safe and legal abortion.
