Marisol has extensive experience doing research from a human rights and intersectional feminist perspective. At WGNRR she works as Campaigns and Communications Officer, and focuses on campaigns related to behavioral change strategies with new technologies and social media. She was selected as a Women Deliver Young Leader for 2016. Prior to joining WGNRR she was granted a one-year fellowship at Yale University where she engaged in research on gender equity and reproductive rights focusing on specific cases of the Middle East and Latin America. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Monterrey, Mexico and a Masters Degree from El Colegio de Mexico. She was part of the International Student Honors Program at Stanford University and worked as an intern at the Canadian Parliament.
She speaks Spanish, English, French and Arabic.
