September 28 is just around the corner! Together with members and partners, the WGNRR team has been busy getting ready for this year’s campaign activities, for which we have been receiving incredible support and commitment.
The Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights (WGNRR) is excited to announce the addition of Yvette Kathurima to the WGNRR Board, who brings with her many years of SRHR expertise and feminist activism. The WGNRR Board provides leadership and financial oversight of WGNRR’s vision and mission towards the full realisation of the sexual and reproductive health and rights of all people.

WGNRR calls on the Turkish Government to take necessary measures for the immediate release of the WHRDs and to take action to protect the human rights of all activists and WHRDs in Turkey.
WGNRR wants to congratulate Jayathma for being appointed by SG António Guterres as Envoy on Youth, and look forward to a strong and continued collaboration. In particular working together so that young people’s voices are heard in regards to their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
WGNRR is excited to present the second post of our Youth Blog Series: “Looking back, looking forward: My journey into SRHR activism by Marinella Matejčić. “People who know me have this running joke about how everything I do is sex. I write about sex, talk about sex, tweet about sex, write project proposals that involve sex. Quite frankly, that is true: although it’s not just sex – it’s sexual and reproductive health, rights and justice.”
