Solidarity Statement: End the War on Gaza now!
The Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights (WGNRR), stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people as they resist militarism, imperialism, and settler colonization. We firmly denounce the grave violation amounting to gross war crimes, including severe infringements on their human rights, among which are sexual and reproductive health and rights. We demand an end to Israel’s regime of colonial apartheid, inhumane siege, and blockade on Gaza. The time has come to put an end to the collective suffering inflicted upon civilians in Gaza.
Our call extends beyond borders and directs itself to the global community. We implore governments and leaders of Global North states, global corporations, and funding bodies to reflect on the complicity and injustice that has perpetuated Israel’s continued violation of human rights and international laws. We must acknowledge that injustices committed anywhere in the world have far-reaching ramifications. The tactics, messages, and weaponry used in this conflict are often replicated by governments seeking to suppress entire populations. We call upon governments and corporations to harness their power and influence to compel an immediate end to the siege, direct humanitarian aid to the suffering, and uphold their commitments to human rights and international laws.
