Feminism in India is an award-winning digital intersectional feminist media organisation. It was founded with the purpose of educating and developing a feminist consciousness among youth. Its aim, amongst others is to help unravel and demistify all the negativity surrounding the word “feminism”. As such, FII helps to amplify the voices of women and marginalized communities throug the use of art, media, culture, technology and community whilst covering issues such as women’s studies, gender, SRHR, VAW, internet as a space, amongst others. FII is currently working on the issue of media representation of gender-based violence in an effort to create safe online spaces for women and those who are marginalized.
