Marisol Ruiz
Marisol has extensive experience working on human rights issues from an intersectional feminist perspective. She is the Campaigns and Communications Coordinator at WGNRR, and focuses on creating campaigns that lead to behavioral change with new technologies and social media focusing on stigmatized issues. Together with a group of other young feminist activists she worked in the #YoungFeministVisions Campaign lanched in the United Nations at CSW61. She was selected as a Women Deliver Young Leader in 2016. Prior to joining WGNRR she was granted a one-year fellowship at Yale University where she engaged in research on gender equity and reproductive rights. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Monterrey, Mexico and a Masters Degree from El Colegio de Mexico. She was part of the International Student Honors Program at Stanford University and worked as an intern at the Canadian Parliament.
She speaks Spanish, English, French and studied Arabic.
