Millicent Knopp
Millicent Knopp WGNRR’s new programme intern joins the WGNRR Africa Office from the United States where she is working on completing her Masters Degree in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. Millicent (Millie) is an aspiring young professional who is passionate about women’s sexual health and rights and their integral role in international development. Originally from Kansas in the Midwest of the United States, Millie has worked in various program management roles in nongovernmental organizations in the USA with differing thematic areas including women’s professional development, positive youth engagement, sexual health education and early childhood literacy. Millie is excited to join WGNRR for her 6 month master’s field practicum to support the organization in connecting with grassroots partners and learning more about the SRHR global advocacy community. In her free time Millie enjoys camping, traveling and spending time with her pet rabbit, Mr. Bojangles.
