Peace Foundation Pakistan – WGNRR’s partner from Pakistan!

Peace Foundation Pakistan is a women-led not-for profit organization that works for women’s human rights. They focus on Sexual and Reproductive Rights, Violence against women, education and poverty reduction.

Established in 2010, Peace Foundation has been working in five districts of Sindh with the support of the Safe Abortion Action Fund, the Global Fund For Women, Catapult and Women Deliver USA. The Peace Foundation works towards reducing unsafe abortions in rural communities through mobile family planning camps, information sharing, advocacy with local public officials, hotline counselling for medical abortion and using mobile Health interventions. They also work with SPO Hyderabad in a disaster risk reduction program in Mirpurkhas. They have developed early warning system for seven union councils of Mirpurkhas.
