Defending and Promoting Reproductive Rights in Tanzania
|
WGNRR Africa, in partnership with Center for Reproductive Rights – Kenya, held a strategizing session with journalists, social media influencers, and experts in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), collectively known as reproductive rights defenders. The primary objective was to collaboratively review and enhance advocacy strategies, with a special focus on safeguarding and advancing reproductive rights within Tanzania.
The meeting concluded with a resounding commitment to advancing SRHR for all, particularly focusing on the issue of safe abortion for victims of rape, incest, sexual assault and defilement in Tanzania.
