Women’s Major Group’s Red Flags on Sustainable Development Goals

Women’s Major Group (WMG) released a statement ( Outcome-SDGs-Womens-Red-Flags.pdf ) assessing the outcome document ( Outcome-Document-OWG.pdf ) of the negotiations on the sustainable development goals (SGDs) and indicating 8 red flags. While recognising that the SGDs signified a step forward, WMG noted that they still lacked really ambitious targets critical for achieving women’s human rights, sustainable development and ending inequalities.
