World AIDS Day Watchdog
Today, on World AIDS Day, the Youth Coalition for Sexual and Reproductive Rights, in cooperation with the Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights, the International Community of Women Living with HIV and members of the “More Than Our Status” initiative, are pleased to release its World AIDS Day edition of the Watchdog!
Within these pages you will get a glimpse of the stories of young women and adolescent girls from diverse parts of the world, and their everyday lives and experiences living with HIV and/or affected by HIV. These are young people who face multiple forms of oppression, disproportionate discrimination, violence and lack of respect for their rights, including their sexual and reproductive rights, because of their HIV positive status.
Their stories serve to renew our calls to end stigma, violence and discrimination against people living with HIV.
